Certificate Rating

In order to avoid our movie being watched by unsuitable viewers, we had to agree on a suitable BBFC certificate.

• We chose the 15 certificate as even though the trailer only contains slight violence we would expect the full movie to contain more, making it unsuitable for those younger than 15. 
• We also believe that the topic presented is of a more mature nature and in order to be as effective as possible the trailer needs to be watched by someone who is able to understand the underlying elements of the narrative.

Here is a range of pictures and films linked to the genre horror. These kind of pictures enabled us to create ideas such as the type of lighting and different locations to include -  in order to make our trailer a success.

This video was used in order to help us calculate the timings of our shots and also which points of the song will be related to particular shots. We have used one of our potential songs, Broken by Leona Lewis as our background music.
